Dear Valued Distributor,
Have you ever been contacted online by a stranger showing interest in buying a machine?
Here are some of the following phrases familiar:
“I need a machine immediately. Please order for me NOW!”
“Please send my machine via NEXT DAY AIR SHIPPING”
“Please send my machine to this specific address”
These are common phrases used by scammers. If you have ever received or been told some of these phrases by someone you do not know directly, please suspect this might be a fraud. We want to raise awareness to all our distributors to check the legitimacy of your prospects and authenticate their information. Again, please be always aware when your potential prospects make some of these unusual requests.
Currently, such fraud cases are rampant in the Canadian market. This represents a big loss for Enagic and requires unnecessary administrative work. Moreover, for distributors, this is a waste of time, plus in these cases, the sponsor of the sale (upline) must return the commission earned. This has been constituting a tremendous burden on both parties lately. We have started asking for a picture ID (even for user orders) at the time of purchase as a countermeasure and contacting directly the customer who placed the order online to verify it is a legitimate purchase. Unfortunately, we are seeing some instances where even IDs were forged.
We need your cooperation to prevent this from happening again. If you encounter such cases, please inform us before placing an order. We will check thoroughly and will not ship the machine unless the contact information is verified. In order to prevent fraud, it is indispensable to stand together, make a calm decision and take immediate action.
